So I thought today I would mix it up a little. Sometimes things on the blog will begin to feel routine to me so I like to mix it up just a little so the next week a column feels more fresh. This week I was feeling that way about Art to Outfit. So Instead to curb all your fashion needs I thought I would step in front of the camera and toss on an everyday outfit for me. No granted I most likely would be wearing a blazer since that is a staple for me, but this day was too warm for any long sleeves. A simple sheer top, rolled up skinnies, flats, and a good clutch kept things simple but fun when all paired together. This is nothing fancy and totally straight out out of my closet, but I thought it would be fun to share this with you all today.
necklace/ $3 a local arts and craft store…yes it is a strand of beads I like wearing as a necklace…similar top/ $12 TJ Maxx…similar belt / $12 target…similar vintage clutch / $10 Wilson’s Antiques in Traverse City (my favorite haunt) dark skinnies / $40 gap outlet…similar leopard flats / $15 Target…similar
I wore this outfit for a night out with the girls. We chilled drinking wine and crafting that evening, but then later went out. It was casual but adding the clutch and sheer top helped make easily worn out.
I wish I could say I was bold about my accessories but I always feel the most comfortable in the simplest things. I like it minimal, easy, and not overly complicated. I envy people who can rock layers of accessories and not think twice about it. Maybe I need to keep working at it but for now this necklace is one of my favorite things to toss on.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!! I am traveling more today and working on the road is more of a challenge than I expect no matter how many times I think I have perfected it. See you Friday!
