We are tying up as much as we can, in the studio today, and packing our bags for our flight to Cape Town on Monday morning. It will be a crazy weekend in many ways, but we are feeling very excited to finally get to South Africa and start working.

We can’t completely tell you guys all the details of what we are working on yet, but I will say that it is a big one. One we feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work on. The only thing I can tell you is that it is a branding and marketing project for an iphone app that should launch before the end of the year. That’s all I can give you now! Throughout our time there we will be showing snippets of the project via our instagram accounts, so make sure to check Mike and I’s photos for more sneak peeks of our travels.

In preperation for this trip we have been so focused on the work we will do there I havent really had an opportunity to explore what is in an around Cape Town. So when I finally started checking out the scene I stumbled across this shoot in Cereal Magazine about the Noordhoek town just south of Cape Town. It’s a small artist community on the coast and I knew I just had to share one of the photos for this post. Check out all the images here.

In many ways I am actually more excited since I havent had an opportunity to reseach it very much. It will make for a great surprise when we arrive. I sometimes regret not doing more research when going somewhere out of fear of missing some truly amazing things, but this time I am ready to be completely shocked and amazed.

Have a wonderful weekend friends. See you Monday as we catch our plane for our 30 hour trip to the Cape! You ready to come along with us? Good, because we plan to pull another Paris and Italy on you and show you all of our adventures while we are there. You know we love this stuff and live for it a little right? Yeah, so let’s go see the African coast together.

Cheers friends.
